This policy explains how the 1-on-1 Video Call feature of Aukaat works, the rules that apply to it, and the safety measures we have in place. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
18+ only. Video Calling is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. You must confirm your age before using the feature, and this confirmation is recorded with a timestamp.
1. Age Requirement
Video Calling is limited to users who are 18 years of age or older. Before accessing the feature, every user must confirm they meet this requirement. This confirmation is recorded as part of our safety and compliance measures. If our records indicate a user is under 18, access is blocked. Providing false age information violates our Terms and may result in account termination.
2. How Video Calling Works
Video calls are one-to-one, real-time audio and video sessions between a caller and a verified Creator. Calls are:
Billed per minute in coins, at a rate set by each Creator (50–5,000 coins per minute);
Transmitted in real time using a third-party real-time communication provider (Agora);
Optionally enhanced with virtual gifts, which convert to Creator earnings (beans).
3. Camera & Microphone
Video calling requires access to your device's camera and microphone. These are used only during an active call. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though doing so will prevent you from making or receiving video calls.
4. Privacy & Recording
Screenshots and screen recording are blocked during video calls to protect both parties.
We do not record or store the audio or video content of calls. Real-time streams are not retained after a call ends.
Metadata such as call duration, participants, and coins spent is retained for billing, safety, and dispute resolution.
Calls may be reported by either party. Repeated reports may trigger review and account action.
5. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension or permanent ban, and where applicable, reporting to authorities:
Nudity, sexual content, or sexually explicit behaviour;
Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abusive behaviour;
Any content involving minors;
Solicitation, fraud, or illegal activity of any kind;
Recording or capturing calls by any external means.
6. Reporting & Safety Tools
We provide tools to keep the community safe:
Report — report any user during or after a call;
Block — prevent a user from calling or matching with you;
Auto-flagging — users who receive multiple reports are automatically flagged for review and may have calling disabled;
18+ enforcement — age confirmation is required and recorded.

7. Payments & Earnings
Coins are purchased through the app and are non-refundable once spent. See our Refund Policy and Coins & Pricing.
Creators earn beans from call time and gifts. Beans are redeemable subject to our payout terms and minimum thresholds.
All transactions are subject to applicable taxes and our Terms & Conditions.
8. Platform Role
Aukaat is a platform that facilitates connections between users and Creators. Aukaat is not a party to the conversations that take place during calls and is not responsible for the conduct of individual users, though we enforce this policy and our community guidelines to the fullest extent.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of the video calling feature constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
